About Granite

An igneous stone made up of quartz, feldspar, micas, amphiboles and a mixture of other minerals. The abundance of minerals create the numerous colours and textures we see on our granite countertops.

Our granite is cut into blocks and sliced into slabs prior to being polished and sealed. As the colours of granite vary, we advise our clientele to see the actual slab(s) first, prior to fabrication.

Material Care

Our Granite will produce a natural defence to resist staining and scratching. To continue material care we recommend to regularly apply sealant once every two years as a preventative measure for staining.

Once the countertop is sealed properly, daily care is a breeze. We recommend a soft cloth or a microfibre cleaning cloth to dust the surface, or wipe it down. Simply use plain water and /or mild soap to clean. Ensure that when substances are spilled on surface, wipe down and clean as soon as possible with recommended items mentioned earlier.
